Tamashī to Kokoro Dojo is a not for profit traditional and dynamic school of Aikikai Aikido for ages 12 and up of all genders in San Miguel de Allende, GTO, Mexico.
The chief instructor at the Tamashī to Kokoro Dojo is Carlos F. Chancellor Sensei who is a nidan (2nd degree black belt), with more than 20 years of Aikido practice, 28 years in martial arts in general, and 10 years of experience as an instructor.
The dojo is affiliated to Sansuikai International through the Mexico Aikido Kihon Dojo.
Tamashī to Kokoro means "Heart and Soul" and it is in this spirit that we guide our practice. In this dojo we practice with sincerity, ever seeking to conquer our own ego and harmonize with our practice partners.
In this dojo we do not discriminate against gender, race, sexual identity, gender identity, rank and knowledge, personal economy, physical abilities or disabilities, religion or other such personal factors. So long as the student is willing to practice with sincerity according to her or his own abilities, follow the norms of dojo etiquette and respect her or his fellow practitioners, she or he will always be welcome.
